Aqua is the operating system for wealth channel alternatives. We are building the platform for independent broker‑dealers (IBDs) and independent financial advisors (RIAs) to invest in alternative assets. We are on track to process $5B in new transactions for 2025, with customer logos including some of the largest RIAs/BDs in the nation and asset managers including Blackstone, Apollo, JLL, Blue Owl, etc.
We are riding one of the biggest “platform shifts” in capital markets history – the movement of wealth channel capital into private markets. Over the next 10 years, we will become key financial infrastructure for trillions of dollars worth of assets.
About the Role We are hiring our first GTM Associate. You will work directly under the Head of GTM, and have plenty of facetime with the CEO. We are about to build one of the fastest growing wealth‑tech / FinTech platforms in the world, have a unique wedge into the market, and are building out a compounding flywheel of growth activities. We have a very sticky product with rave reviews, and are taking our first steps towards hitting the market at scale – this is a key inflection point for Aqua.
The GTM Associate is going to be both a strategic and operational role. We have wide remit within the organization to drive outcomes, and we are operating in a highly ambiguous environment. You will be helping drive the business’ core revenue function, and have a tremendous amount of leverage and responsibility. This is a role for a very specific, highly ambitious individual, capable of thinking from a 30,000‑foot perspective, but willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done. Ideal candidate is seeking to found a company one day, but wants to own the experience of scaling the revenue org of a company from a very early stage.
What You’ll Do
Own experimentation tracking and analysis for all key marketing experiments we run
Help design and launch new marketing experiments
Establish and manage analytics across a range of disparate MarTech tools
Help establish sales performance goals, and lead sales operations
Stand up and oversee sales org infrastructure
Own the RevOps function
Set up and manage our partnerships function, across a wide range of ecosystem counterparties
Help launch our podcast, and coordinate with high‑signal guests at the top echelons of the wealth and asset management industries
Who You Are
1‑3 years of experience, either in GTM at a high‑growth startup, or in consulting / investment banking
Seeking to be a founder someday, with the goal of learning how to stand up and scale a GTM organization
Cross‑functional: you are capable of operating across sales and marketing, and interfacing with product, design, and engineering teams
Capable of executing effectively in operational domains, thinking strategically, and building personal relationships with executives and leaders across the industry
