Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

National Accounts Field Sales Professional . As a National Account Executive, you will collaborate with an inside sales team to provide cloud-based solutions, training, outsourced service offerings, and consulting services to senior‑level decision makers in the transportation, environmental, health & safety, and human resources sectors. We prioritize your success with a comprehensive onboarding experience, a committed field sales trainer, and an in‑house selling course designed to leverage your skills and get you off to a great start. Candidates must be prepared to travel 50%. The territory for this position includes Missouri, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Key Responsibilities
Exceed monthly financial targets while building a robust sales pipeline.
Navigate complex business cycles with finesse, negotiating favorable agreements that benefit all parties.
Continuously expand accounts by identifying additional contacts, buyers, and sales opportunities.
Develop lasting relationships with current clients to foster support and drive business growth.
Job Responsibilities
Sells a variety of products and services to customers within assigned account base by working collaboratively with inside sales partners.
Develops and implements selling strategies for each assigned company.
Develops supply agreements, contracts, merchandising and pricing strategies as appropriate.
Works with business units on the negotiation of pricing, terms and conditions and other key agreement components.
Organizes and manages the sales process for each account to capitalize on selling opportunities and ensure all follow‑up activities are handled in a timely manner, including transition to the implementation staff.
Continuously qualifies and develops accounts by identifying additional contacts/buyers and sales opportunities. If an opportunity is identified for another sales area, takes appropriate action to transition the lead.
Services all customers, internal and external, in a professional manner. Resolves customer service problems to the mutual satisfaction of both the company and the customer.
Accurately completes and processes necessary documentation related to customers and sales transactions, including all expense reporting.
Coordinates customer visits as appropriate.
Qualifications Experience
Field sales experience selling intangible services and solutions.
Industry experience related to Transportation, EH&S and/or HR required.
Experience selling to and negotiating with large enterprise level clients preferred.
Proven track record in building strategic business partnerships and navigating complex business cycles.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business related field; in lieu of a bachelor’s degree would consider equivalent level of field sales experience.
Other Skills/Qualifications
Strong business development skills and ability to utilize a consultative sales approach.
Ability to facilitate, lead and collaborate with an inside sales team.
Self‑motivated with strong time management, planning and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills are essential.
Independent problem‑solving skills. Confident, assertive, and goal oriented.
Must possess valid driver’s license.
Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Physical Requirements Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Frequent airplane or car travel required for this position.
