Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Fragrance Evaluator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fine fragrance notes, accords, and composition, with the ability to evaluate scent quality, strength, longevity, and market appeal. This role is critical to ensuring Bellevue Parfums delivers innovative, high-quality fine fragrances that align with industry trends and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate fine fragrance submissions for top, heart, and base notes, strength, balance, and longevity.

Collaborate with perfumers, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment between olfactive direction and brand positioning.

Provide detailed evaluations, descriptive olfactive profiles, and performance reports.

Monitor fragrance industry trends, competitive launches, and consumer insights to guide development.

Support the creation of fragrance briefs and ensure submissions meet creative and technical objectives.

Partner with cross-functional teams to test fragrances in final product formats for stability and wearability.

Participate in fragrance panel testing and consumer studies to validate market appeal.

Maintain an organized fragrance library and evaluation records for internal reference.

✅ Quality Control: Check and verify the quality, consistency, and authenticity of fragrances purchased from suppliers.

✅ Formulation Development: Assist in developing fragrance formulations for new products, ensuring compliance with creative, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

3 years of experience as a Fragrance Evaluator in fine fragrances, beauty, or cosmetics (required).

Strong knowledge of olfactive families, raw materials, and accords.

Ability to assess sillage, strength, and longevity in fragrance products.

Experience with quality control and fragrance testing methodologies.

Familiarity with formulation development and fragrance blending is a strong plus.

Excellent sensory skills and descriptive writing ability to articulate fragrance performance.

Solid understanding of the fragrance development process from concept to launch.

Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally with perfumers, marketers, R&D, and production.

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and presentation skills.

Passion for fragrance and innovation in the beauty industry.
