Summary Responsible for generating new customers and cross‑selling existing customers for required inspections of fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, fire alarms, exit/emergency lighting, and fire suppression systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Using cold calls and warm leads to seek new customers and expand the customer base.
Establish contact with potential clients by efficiently scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and helping customers identify fire life‑safety needs.
Maintain communication with existing clients to upsell and cross‑sell additional services not currently provided.
Conduct site surveys of customer locations and review findings with Management to develop appropriate pricing and presentation plans.
Develop and maintain customer relationships through communication, accurate quotes, anticipation of fire life‑safety needs, resolution of concerns and complaints, and provision of education or fire code reference support.
Prepare and present proposals and contracts in a timely and accurate manner that offers fire life‑safety solutions, including technician dispatching, report submission, record keeping, and client billing.
Ensure customer satisfaction levels meet and exceed company standards.
Maintain an active proposal pipeline to support current department needs and future growth opportunities.
Report sales business plan to Management during monthly meetings.
Develop an understanding of the assigned Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler markets and services provided to customers within the assigned territory.
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university and 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
