Pay Range Salary: $99,521 – $123,933 per year (base pay). Actual pay depends on skills and experience.

Location & Employment Bridgewater, MA | Full‑time.

About the Role Are you passionate about turning financial data into strategic decisions? As a Commercial Portfolio Manager, you will oversee the asset quality and risk management of a portfolio of commercial and business loans. You will conduct annual reviews, assess borrower performance, recommend risk ratings, and collaborate with internal teams and clients to maintain credit quality.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of assigned loans, maintain credit and legal files, and perform quality control of loan closings.

Track reporting, financial statements, covenant compliance, and payment performance.

Prepare and track loan rate reset dates, funding requests, UCC and insurance expirations, and other servicing requirements.

Ensure Annual Reviews for all loans are completed timely.

Prepare documents for loan renewals, order and track required documents, and maintain compliance.

Support growth of the commercial lending portfolio by effectively managing member loans and relationships.

Establish and maintain member relationships, identify and recommend cross‑sell opportunities.

Work with members to extend, modify, or restructure loans; assist in resolving credit problems and delinquencies.

Administer the lending process, assist with loan applications, underwriting submissions, and regulatory disclosures.

Review loan applications for completeness before submission for underwriting.

Conduct pre‑closing document reviews and ensure compliance with terms.

Assist in closing processes, including ordering legal and lien information, and coordinate with attorneys.

Conduct site visits as needed and prepare reports.

Ensure adherence to credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Participate in evaluating risk ratings and recommend revisions.

Interface with third‑party underwriters and loan servicers.

Manage quality control and maintenance of credit and legal files.

Perform additional duties as requested.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Four to five years of experience in business/commercial lending required.

Three years of management experience preferred.

Formal credit training highly preferred.

Knowledge of commercial credit and lending policies and standards required.

Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Strong analytical, verbal and written business communication, member service, and interpersonal skills.
