About The Role The Investment Strategist position supports the Relationship Management team in its primary function of actively managing client investment accounts and the coordinated delivery of services to individuals, families, trusts and foundations. The role will be the second point of contact on the relationship management team in managing and developing client relationships, while reporting to the Chief Investment Officer.
What You’ll Do
Propose and implement investment strategies based on client Investment Policy Statements
Assist in developing and documenting Investment Policy Statements
Lead, mentor, and support the Portfolio Analyst team
Act as the main liaison between Investment Management and Relationship Management teams
Manage portfolio implementation projects, including drift and benchmark analysis
Support oversight and implementation of alternative investments
Prepare charts, reports, and client presentation materials
Draft proposals, presentations, financial plans, and more
Present to clients and prospects alongside Relationship Managers
Create timely market and portfolio commentary for client distribution
Represent Bridges Trust in client and professional engagements
Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or business related focus.
CFA or Graduate degree and/or relevant professional certification preferred.
Series 65 license required within 6 months.
7+ years of financial services / wealth management experience.
Proven experience in investment strategy and portfolio management
Results driven, detailed oriented and a motivated self-starter
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Excellent communication and analytical capabilities
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial software
Knowledge of alternative investments is a plus
Team-focused, client-first mindset
