Founded in 1999, Progressive Community Health Centers is an independent non‑profit organization that operates four clinic locations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services essential to the organization’s operations. This role involves coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining inventory software database, maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of supplies and optimizing procurement processes for cost effectiveness and efficiency. This role must exercise discretion in executing essential functions and be able to work independently, following through on assignments with minimal direction. Responsibilities

Optimize procurement processes for cost effectiveness and operational efficiency. Execute essential functions with discretion and work independently with minimal direction. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field preferred. Two or more years of procurement or supply chain experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in creating and maintaining spreadsheets. Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Vaccination Requirement
It is mandatory that all employees, employed providers and volunteers are vaccinated. All hired candidates must submit proof of vaccination prior to their orientation.
