Outreach Coordinator – Epidemiology
Location: New Orleans, LA Summary
The Department of Epidemiology is looking for an Outreach Coordinator. The community outreach coordinator is responsible for coordinating community outreach initiatives to include volunteer opportunities. This individual will work to increase community awareness and maintain/build relationships with individuals and organizations affiliated. Responsibilities
Work occasional weekend and evening events, allowing flexibility for hours during the work week and coordination with other members of the team. Coordinate with other partners within the community and with primary locations (assigned community organizations and Tulane University) and other study partners. Perform administrative and coordinative work directed toward the design, implementation, evaluation and review of assigned project(s). Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Two years of health/clinical experience or equivalent health-related education required. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Research and/or data collection experience Work experience in an academic environment Familiarity with research
