Overview A driven, high-performing Property Manager is needed to lead operations for a newly built independent senior living community in Plano, TX undergoing significant transition and repositioning. This role requires a true “mini CEO”, someone who can take ownership of the property, elevate performance, rebuild an on‑site team, stabilize occupancy, and guide the community through a full market‑rate lease‑up.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the operational leader and primary decision‑maker for the community.
Manage and mentor a 6‑person on‑site team:
Assistant Property Manager
Leasing Specialist
Activities Coordinator
Maintenance Technicians (x2)
Grounds Keeper
Drive occupancy and lead an aggressive lease‑up strategy.
Oversee resident satisfaction, retention, and community engagement.
Manage budgeting, reporting, and financial performance.
Ensure compliance with company standards, housing regulations, and local requirements.
Collaborate with leadership on repositioning and the shift to full market‑rate operations.
Oversee vendor relationships and service delivery.
Maintain operational excellence, safety, and property performance.
What It Takes
3–5+ years of relevant property management experience (multifamily or senior living preferred).
Proven success managing lease‑ups, turnaround environments, or new market launches.
Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills.
Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution abilities.
Strong budgeting, financial, and operational management skills.
Ability to excel in fast‑paced or complex business environments.
