About this Role: The Temporary Registration Coordinator is an important contributor to the Corporate Events team, one branch of three that comprise our firm’s central source for planning and executing meetings and events which allow Baird to leverage buying power, achieve business results and deliver a consistent, brand-certified experience. This position is unique in that it works with all three branches of the firm’s planning teams. The Temporary Event Registration Coordinator is responsible for partnering on corporate meetings and events through the implementation of registration & communication strategy, delivery of communication objectives and execution of onsite experience, while working effectively with several internal and external clients.

Additionally, the position is responsible for contributing to the team mission of providing expert planning, superior organization and client-focused event execution for Baird’s internal and external clients in partnership with key stakeholders to foster relationships, education and achieve business goals.

The Impact You'll Make:

Build, test, and launch registration forms and event websites

Identify registration and communication needs; recommend solutions to meet goals

Ensure compliance with branding and industry regulations; route approvals as needed

Create and manage communication plans and timelines using templates

Collaborate on custom graphics and communication materials for events

Partner with stakeholders to finalize content for communication items

Report registration and travel updates during client planning calls

Assist with packing, nametag preparation, and onsite event needs

Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal clients through communication

Support shared inbox and phone lines with client-focused attitude

Contribute to team environment and assist with administrative tasks

Provide operational support for event teams, including sourcing and packing

What You'll Bring to Baird:

Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years corporate event experience preferred

Knowledge of event planning and technology platforms like Cvent preferred

Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service consistently

Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage deadlines under pressure

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for collaboration

Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments effectively

Proficient computer skills and ability to learn event systems quickly

Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

Understanding of web and graphic design principles and best practices

Basic HTML and image editing knowledge preferred for event needs

Proactive problem-solving and ability to keep projects on track

Available for occasional evenings/weekends; minimal travel and light lifting required
