Field Manager (Pet Supplies Plus Corporate Plan)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Execution of reset and promotions with PSP District Field Leaders (25)
Local event support for 750+ stores & Grand Opening event support (25+ new openings each year)
Regular support and quarterly meetings with 3 regional team leads (RTL)
Franchise group management including identification and execution of opportunities
Key contact for store‑level support/issues and field‑level CLA (Broker) initiatives
Continuous monitoring of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies as needed
Attend JBP meetings – own field insights (3‑4 times) & attend periodic buyer meetings
Manage the sales budget for designated field responsibilities, ensuring expenditures stay within budget while maximizing ROI
Other duties to support Pet Supplies Plus business and achieve sales goals
Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of the pet industry and how large retailers function
Field sales execution experience
Creative thinking and curiosity to develop and grow sales
Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships
Self‑motivated & organized
Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through skills
Persistent personality
Adaptability to new brands, products and evolving strategies
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and strong presentation skills
Required education: Business degree or related field
Required experience: 4 years selling to retailers at store level and working with key accounts in the pet industry
Preferred experience: 4+ years selling to retailers at store level; 6+ years in the pet industry

Base salary range:
$92,000‑$115,000. The posted salary range reflects data based on California’s cost of labor analysis and is subject to change by state. Salary is based on a wide range of factors including experience, skills, and location.
