Manager, Product Management – DevX Capital One is a high‑tech bank that empowers millions of consumers with innovative banking solutions.

We are building a Developer Experience platform that gives our 1,800+ software‑development teams enterprise tools, best practices, and security compliance to deliver reliable mobile and online experiences in the cloud.

As a Product Manager on the DevX team, you will design and ship managed developer tools that improve the quality of life for our software‑delivery teams while maintaining the highest quality and security standards.

You will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to identify pain points, define product features, and ensure our platform is intuitive, reliable, automated, secure, and adaptable.

Successful candidates will also demonstrate

Technical knowledge and depth to propose and influence new product ideas, especially in developer tooling for large enterprises.

Experience translating business strategy into consumer‑facing digital products.

Experience building CI/CD and DevOps tools.

Strong ability to work with key stakeholders to understand dependencies and prioritize customer needs.

Ability to prepare strategic roadmaps and communicate them to leadership and other stakeholders.

Ability to deliver products in a fast‑paced, ambiguous, distributed environment.

Analytical and quantitative skills; use of data and metrics to back assumptions and build business cases.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience engaging senior executives.

Strong work ethic, team spirit, and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done.

Responsibilities

Engage stakeholders (Engineers, SDLC, Architecture, Risk, Cyber) to act as the voice of the customer and identify new capabilities.

Define product features and collaborate closely with engineering teams to incorporate those features.

Drive product‑management practice by setting expectations and commitments within the organization.

Operationalize product metrics and build business cases for new investment.

Influence senior stakeholders to adopt our products and communicate outcomes to strengthen investment.

Basic Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in Product Management.

Currently holds or is pursuing a degree (expected completion before start date) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related area.

Degrees may be a Bachelor’s or Master’s (including an MBA with a quantitative concentration).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer‑facing digital products.

2+ years of software development experience or building developer tools.

The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location.

Salaries for part‑time roles will be prorated based on the agreed number of hours.

McLean, VA: $158,400 – $180,800

Plano, TX: $144,000 – $164,400

Richmond, VA: $144,000 – $164,400

This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
