Our client, a leader in financial services and risk management, is seeking an AML Fraud Analyst to join their team. As an AML Fraud Analyst, you will be part of the compliance and fraud investigation team supporting fraud detection and suspicious activity reporting related to government relief programs.

Investigate alerts generated by Verafin related to PPP loan activity and other high-risk transactions. Conduct in-depth analysis of customer behavior, transaction patterns, and supporting documentation. Draft and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with clear, concise, regulator-ready narratives. Identify fraud typologies including identity theft, synthetic identities, and misuse of government relief programs. Collaborate with internal teams such as compliance, lending, and operations to gather relevant data and escalate findings. What's Needed?
Associate Degree or higher in a relevant field. Hands-on experience using Verafin for transaction monitoring and case management. Strong understanding of BSA/AML regulations and SAR writing standards. Ability to analyze complex data and identify fraud patterns. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
