This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of one on-site day per week at the headquarters office in The Woodlands, TX; candidates located in the Houston metropolitan area are preferred, though qualified candidates elsewhere in Texas will be considered.
Position Overview The Chief of Staff & Director of Strategic Programs is an operational driver reporting directly to the CEO. This role connects the executive team, oversees cross functional execution, and manages a PMO structure that supports rapid change and organizational alignment ensuring that company initiatives are delivered with clarity, transparency, and consistent execution. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities
Provide high-level support to the CEO, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and preparing reports and executive summaries.
Prepare, design, and deliver high-quality presentations and decks for monthly operations reviews, CEO reviews, and board meetings, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with strategic goals.
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop, implement, and track strategic plans, ensuring alignment across the organization.
Build and manage a centralized system to track initiatives, program plans, and cross-functional tasks, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies.
Lead the cadence of executive, C-level, and cross-functional meetings, including agenda development, facilitation, and follow‑up on action items.
Oversee the execution of high‑impact projects from inception to completion, including developing timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
Identify and prioritize key initiatives that drive organizational growth and operational efficiency.
Facilitate communication between the executive team and other departments, ensuring clarity, alignment, and accountability.
Support process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities, implementing solutions, and fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Own and coordinate Executive Leadership Team agendas for on‑site and remote meetings.
Support compliance responsibilities with guidance and mentorship, as needed.
Troubleshoot misalignment among leaders by clarifying facts, escalating when necessary, and guiding teams to shared understanding of goals and timelines.
Lead clinical outcomes analysis and translate insights into operational adjustments, partnering with clinical and operations teams to refine workflows based on data‑driven findings.
Spearhead initiatives that pivot clinical workflows and operational processes in response to performance, quality, and outcomes data, ensuring measurable improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs and strategic priorities.
Requirements

2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferred.
Proven experience managing complex responsibilities, coordinating multiple teams, and working closely with senior leaders.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and programs from start to finish, including breaking down complex problems, developing timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring completion.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work, track progress, and ensure initiatives stay on schedule.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly summarize complex information.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑change environment while keeping teams aligned and focused on priorities.
Comfortable overseeing and coordinating work across C‑suite leaders, resolving conflicting perspectives, and ensuring clarity and alignment.
