Social Media Content and Marketing Strategy Volunteer
Posted January 02, 2026 The volunteer will work closely with GDS’s Development Coordinator/Visual Designer, who manages our website, social media platforms, and marketing design and creation. The volunteer will develop ready to use social media content and templates. You will help GDS create a clear and sustainable communications strategy for our deployment of social media and marketing content, including our newsletter and email campaigns. Your experience will bolster GDS’s community engagement and support, and help us be more strategic in our social media and marketing presence across platforms, and therefore expand our 29 years of successful programs in our community. Help us develop a strategy of best practices and a social media/marketing content calendar and templates we can use over the first quarter of 2026, and adapt for future social media and marketing campaigns. A stronger, more robust social media and marketing strategy will increase donor engagement and fundraising, and as importantly community and partner participation. Your work will have a tangible effect on our ability to provide training and programs to strengthen resilience, reduce stigma, foster healing, and create community connection. Your contributions is crucial to GDS’s branding its amazing youth development and intergenerational programs that supports our mission to: build organizational capacity, expand our ability to offer our signature Training Institute to a wider audience, strengthen our existing programs which, along with training and education, includes youth development, mental health and well-being, intergenerational programs and advocacy nourish our youth, seniors, and their communities to reach their full potential!
