Emery Law Office
Intake Specialist – Emery Law Office (Personal Injury Law)
Do you have a passion for helping others? Are you naturally empathetic, an excellent listener, and able to guide people through some of the most difficult times in their lives? Emery Law Office, a respected personal injury law firm that helps clients who have been injured, is looking for a caring and convincing Intake Specialist to join our team.
This role is often the very first point of contact for new clients—and your ability to listen, reassure, and gather important details will set the tone for their entire experience with us. You’ll be the voice of our firm’s mission to help people recover, rebuild, and return to a happy, productive life.
This is an IN-PERSON position and requires daily reliable and insured transportation for traveling within Louisville to meet with potential clients (mileage will be reimbursed).
Benefits
Health and dental insurance
SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with company match (vests immediately)
Two weeks PTO plus paid holidays
Unlimited unpaid time off (as long as KPIs are met)
Weekly pay
Access to on-site and off-site training opportunities to develop new skills
Compensation:
$17 hourly
Responsibilities
Welcome new and prospective clients with warmth, professionalism, and empathy
Listen carefully to understand each client’s unique situation and gather essential information
Provide hope and reassurance to those going through serious accidents or life crises
Coordinate scheduling, follow-up calls, and documentation with precision and care
Help maintain our reputation by representing our values of compassion, integrity, and service
Qualifications
A caring, people-first personality with exceptional listening skills
Able to stay calm and professional under pressure while showing compassion
Eager to learn quickly and adapt, even if you haven’t worked in personal injury law before
Positive and proactive—you see opportunities where others see problems
You enjoy a varied role and will respect all assigned tasks, including scanning, filing, and administrative duties
Bonus points if you have experience in personal injury law—but it’s not required
Why You’ll LOVE Working With Us Purpose-Driven Work:
We care deeply about clients’ lives—not just their cases. You’ll play a key role in helping people find hope and support during a difficult time.
Positive Culture:
We’re authentic, supportive, and approachable—not stuffy or uptight. We work hard, laugh often, and treat each other like real people.
Healthy Work-Life Balance:
We know that great work comes from people who feel balanced and supported. While this role may occasionally include evening or weekend hours, our culture is designed to help you achieve a sustainable, healthy rhythm between work and life.
Growth Mindset:
We support your personal and professional development and encourage learning at every stage.
