Currently seeking someone to cover date nights and errands with possibility of regular part-time work in 2026. Pay to be decided based on experience and fit, but will be $20-$30/hour. =================== We are a loving family located in Portland, Oregon, seeking a reliable and nurturing part-time nanny to care for our newborn. This position is live-out and will require occasional support as we navigate the early stages of parenthood. We are looking for someone who is experienced with infants. Essential qualities we are looking for include being proven responsible and reliable, having a basic understanding of children's development in the early years, and the ability to align with our family's approach to caring for our child. The job will involve basic care for our 3 month old infant, including paced bottle feeding, diaper changes, play time, reading to the baby, and helping establish/maintain soothing and sleeping routines. We will be teaching her baby sign language, so this is also an option as she gets older. The right person must meet the following criteria: be reliable and responsible, have their own vehicle to transport our baby in case of emergencies, be willing/able to complete a background check and submit references, be willing/able to complete infant CPR and first aid training, and be willing to work in a house with a small dog. Experience teaching pre-K/early childhood and knowledge of a language other than English preferred, but not required. Compensation will be between $20-$30 per hour depending on your level of experience and compatibility with our baby.
