Principal Consultant – Energy Solution, ESCO, EaaS, on-site generation
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Sales Manager to lead the growth and transformation of our client's energy solutions business in Texas. This role will drive expansion into on-site generation for commercial and industrial (C&I) clients, including sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, and data centers.
Responsibilities
Lead regional sales strategy focused on energy solutions and on-site generation.
Drive business development across public sector and C&I markets.
Champion the transition from solar-centric offerings to broader on-site generation solutions including Combined Heat and Power (CHP), natural gas, and fuel cell technologies.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Tier 2 and Tier 3 data centers (30–100 MW).
Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of energy projects.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing public sector and C&I clients.
Report directly to executive leadership and manage multiple P&L responsibilities.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in energy solutions, with a strong background in sales.
Proven track record of scaling energy businesses and leading strategic pivots.
Deep understanding of on-site generation technologies and their application in C&I environments.
Experience working with data centers and large-scale energy infrastructure.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing remote teams.
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive long-term growth initiatives.
