Materials Manager (Full Time) – SurgCenter Camelback

Job Summary:
The Materials Manager is responsible for inventory control including ordering all medical supplies, maintaining appropriate inventory, receiving and stocking supplies to assigned areas, providing support to the surgical team, ensuring patient care standards, communicating with team members, and performing additional duties designated by the manager.
Responsibilities
Coordinate receiving, processing, distributing, and storing of supplies
Ensure healthy flow throughout the supply chain
Monitor and manage repairs of equipment
Maintain and coordinate the inventory system
Perform other duties as requested by management
Conduct financial analysis as required to support department goals
Coordinate with clinical and business managers, administrative director, physicians, and ancillary departments regarding patient care and specialty requirements, and procure specialty equipment as indicated
Plan, coordinate, and manage all functions associated with Materials Management Supply
Requirements
1‑2 years in Materials Management or experience as a scrub tech/central supply tech
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Strong attention to detail
Ability to assist with contract management
General understanding of medical supply equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
