Pride Health is hiring a
Float Phlebotomist
to support a top-tier medical facility in Aventura, FL.
Location & Details Location:
Aventura, FL 33180
Duration:
4–5 Month Contract (possibility of extension or conversion)
Shift:
Flexible availability between 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (based on site coverage)
Pay Rate:
$18–$23/hour (W2) (based on experience and education)
Position Overview The
Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
serves as the face of the organization, providing exceptional patient care while performing blood draws and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, and the ability to build patient trust. Assignments may vary and can include a doctor's office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform blood draws safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures.
Provide excellent patient care and clear explanations of procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process excellence.
Complete daily tasks accurately and on time under supervisor direction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Keyboarding and data entry proficiency.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Required in CA, NV, and WA.
Experience
Minimum 6 months of experience required.
1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
