A leading organization in Long Island City is seeking a Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) for their Day Hab Program. This role involves developing and implementing behavioral plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Monday to Friday Hours:
8:30am to 4:30pm (37.5 hours weekly) Setting:
Day Hab Program Responsibilities:
Developing functional behavioral assessments and support plans Providing individual and group counseling Presenting psychotropic medications and behavior support plans to committees Training staff in behavior support plan implementation Providing referrals for additional services Qualifications:
5+ years of experience Master's degree in psychology or a related field Experience with behavioral assessments Counseling skills Desired Skills:
BCBA certification Behavioral analysis skills Excellent interpersonal skills
