Child Welfare Specialist IV - H23D
This position is for current OKDHS employees only. This position is located in Norman, Oklahoma Annual Salary: $52,217.89 + Full State Employee Benefits Applicants who possess a Master's Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%. On-call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities. Travel is extensive. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance. Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree plus one year of experience in professional social work in child welfare programs. OR a Bachelors Degree plus two years experience as a Child Welfare Specialist OR Three years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist. Job Responsibilities
Position serves as a Specialist at the Child Advocacy Center, investigating complex allegations of abuse and neglect, coordinating services between Child Welfare, the customer and the multi disciplinary team (MDT). Conduct complex investigations of child abuse or neglect. This process involves interviews, investigations, research and critical thinking, working closely with the local MDT partners. Provide extensive treatment and other services to children and families. Unit covers on call 24/7 for all serious allegations of abuse/neglect for the county. OKDHS is a Fair Chance Employer. This is a position in the Oklahoma Civil Service.
