Commercialization Manager
Help turn food innovation into reality. We're seeking a Commercialization Manager to own the process of moving food products from early development through full-scale manufacturing. This role sits at the center of product launch efforts, working across technical, operational, and commercial teams to ensure smooth, successful market introductions. What You'll Do: Drive the transition of products from lab and pilot environments into commercial production Plan and oversee manufacturing trials, validations, and initial production runs Anticipate and address challenges related to ingredients, processing, packaging, shelf life, and supply continuity Act as the go-to coordinator for launch readiness across R&D, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Sales Partner with suppliers, co-packers, and equipment providers to support scalable solutions Improve cost, yield, and efficiency while maintaining product integrity and safety Ensure all launches meet regulatory and food safety expectations Track timelines, budgets, and risks across multiple projects and report progress to leadership What We're Looking For: Bachelors degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (advanced degree a plus) 5+ years of experience supporting food product scale-up or manufacturing launches Demonstrated success bringing products from pilot stage into full production Working knowledge of food processing methods and quality systems Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Collaborative communicator whos comfortable in a manufacturing-driven environment Youll play a critical role in shaping how new products reach consumers, with hands-on involvement from concept through launch and the opportunity to make a real operational impact.
