Preferred Candidate Profile
Electrical Systems Expertise – proven ability in diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance of vehicle electrical systems.
Trash Hydraulics Knowledge – in‑depth understanding of hydraulic systems used in refuse vehicles, with practical experience in troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic components.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Operations – familiarity with CNG systems, safety protocols, fueling procedures, and system maintenance.
Cummins Engine Certification (Highly Desirable) – certification in Cummins engines, demonstrating advanced proficiency in engine technology, diagnostics, and repair.
EPA 609 Certification with Extensive A/C Troubleshooting Skills – valid Section 609 certification for handling refrigerants, along with deep expertise in diagnosing and repairing vehicle air conditioning systems.
Benefits
Starting salary of $35–$42 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule and Location
Monday – Friday every week, plus one Saturday per month.
First Shift: 5 am to 4 pm.
Repair / maintenance shop located at our Ft Worth, TX hauling site.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts.
Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
Respond to emergency breakdown service calls.
Conduct safety checks on vehicles to prioritize employee and community safety.
Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times.
Review and complete assignments identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and established safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
4 years of relevant work experience.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Over 18 years of age.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam.
