Ministry Leader - Bloomington
International Friendships, Inc. (IFI) is inviting the role of a Ministry Leader to serve the Bloomington campus community. It is a full‑ or part‑time flexible position dedicated to building meaningful relationships, sharing Jesus, and pursuing intimacy with Christ.
Overview IFI wants to inspire hospitality and relational discipleship among international college students. The Ministry Leader will help reach the 5,700 international students at Indiana University Bloomington to fill a gap in Christ‑centered ministry.
Expected Work Schedule Flexible full or part time schedules. Overtime or weekend events and attendance at the annual IFI retreat may be required.
Pay Structure Salary range: $25,709–$80,000 per year, based on experience and other factors. The role includes training for personal fundraising and building a partners team for financial needs.
Benefits Paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, devotion days, health (medical, vision, dental) benefits, and a staff care team supporting mental, social and spiritual health.
Responsibilities
Launch the ministry location: build relationships with university staff, partner with churches, mobilize volunteers, host Bible discussions and cultural events.
Mentor at least one international student and share the love of Jesus on campus.
Register IFI as a recognized student organization, maintain that registration, and maintain good relations with other campus international organizations.
Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for budgeted needs and share the ministry vision.
Qualifications Must adhere to IFI's statement of faith, core values and policies. Seek a person of character who faithfully extends God's love globally and mobilizes Christians to communicate the Gospel across cultures.
Education / Experience
Demonstrated ministry, training and mobilization experience.
Experience in cross‑cultural ministry (preferred).
College degree preferred.
