Job Details Our firm is seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Tax & CAS Specialist to join our Accounting + Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned tax professional who is looking to expand their career in a fast-paced and innovative financial environment. You will be responsible for a broad range of tax and accounting activities, including corporate tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. This role is not just about crunching numbers, it's about providing strategic tax solutions that drive business success.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring all tax compliance obligations are met.
Advise clients on a range of tax-related issues, from planning and structuring to risk management and compliance.
Prepare and review complex corporate tax returns and financial statements.
Conduct tax research and planning to optimize clients' tax positions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax-related projects.
Stay abreast of the latest tax legislation and regulations to provide timely and accurate advice to clients.
Assist with internal audits and financial reporting.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and strategic advice.
Contribute to the firm's knowledge base by keeping up-to-date with changes in tax laws and sharing this information with the team.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA designation is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably within a public accounting or consulting firm.
In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws, corporate tax planning, and compliance.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
