Field Construction Manager
The Program Management Division at LaBella is looking for a dedicated Field Construction Manager. The FCM will conduct direct and indirect inspections on various Electric Utility Construction projects to meet client needs. The FCM will oversee contractor construction activities on behalf of the Owner to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, safety and environmental regulations, and Company requirements. They will coordinate onsite work activities with Company operations, manage on‑site documentation and communications, coordinate material delivery, develop and maintain as‑built documentation, monitor schedule, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. The prospective individual will have a willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments throughout the industry.
Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000 The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Project Manager for day‑to‑day operations
Assure contractor obligation and adherence to design plans, changeorders, RFIs, MOC, etc.
Document contractor day‑to‑day activities
Demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental protection on the project. Apply the project‑specific safety program to promote overall compliance of health and safety standards, applicable regulations and codes with all employees and subcontractors on the project
Keep written/photographs and records onsite to adequately document project to client standards
Ensure installation is in accordance with utilities Construction Standards, O/M Manual, Federal and State law, and Industry best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field - Preferred
4+ Years of Electric Transmission, Distribution or Substation experience - Required
OSHA 10 or 30 - Preferred
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions - Required
Computer skills Word, Excel, Outlook - Required
Working knowledge Electric Utility Industry - Required
Willingness to travel - Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills - Required
