Job Description
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Fabrication Designer to support the development, coordination, and modeling of advanced electrical systems. This role requires strong technical proficiency in Revit, deep knowledge of electrical components, and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical system design, drafting, and 3D modeling in Revit for power, lighting, fire alarm, security, telecommunications, and related systems.
Apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) to develop compliant, constructible designs.
Develop accurate, detailed models with expert understanding of electrical components including conduit types, fittings, pull boxes, cable trays, and associated hardware.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support 3D coordination across architectural, structural, mechanical, and other trades.
Create clash‑free LOD400 models and conduct stakeholder fly‑throughs using Revizto to communicate design intent and resolve issues.
Partner with construction teams, conduct regular field walks, and verify installations against the coordinated model.
Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously and maintain high accuracy in a fast‑paced, dynamic project environment.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Computerized Drafting or a related field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in electrical design or fabrication modeling with demonstrated exceptional technical ability.
Proven proficiency in Revit for electrical system modeling.
Strong understanding of NEC requirements and practical application in electrical designs.
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and coordinate effectively within 3D environments.
Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills in a high‑volume work setting.
