Position Details
Location: Rolling Meadows, Illinois
Department: Sales/Production
Salary range: $61,000 - $119,000
Work arrangement: Partially Scheduled in the Office
How You’ll Make An Impact Primary focus is to assist Underwriter/Broker Senior in servicing and operational management of accounts. Underwrites, services, and manages assigned accounts. Has Production and Service goals assigned and is measured on attainment of both. Underwrites individual insurance applications to cover property and casualty with guidelines set for the issuance of policies on a standard or substandard basis. Determines whether to accept, modify or decline a risk through evaluation of the property’s value, location, usage, and safety features, and other information pertinent to the decision. Has frequent contact with field to gather information on which to base and defend underwriting decisions.
About You Required: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Behaviors: Assignments are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity.
Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
