Leasing Consultant – Multifamily, Stratford Ridge As a Leasing Consultant, you will play an essential role in supporting the onsite management team, building strong relationships with prospects and residents, and driving leasing goals such as occupancy and rent growth.

Responsibilities

Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects and answering questions about amenities and the local area.

Drive leasing sales by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle benefits of an apartment home.

Assist prospects in qualifying for a home by collecting appropriate information and initiating background checks.

Prepare apartments for move‑in and ensure all move‑in paperwork is completed accurately.

Deliver unmatched resident service to exceed expectations and maintain resident retention.

Perform required office activities and coordinate rental paperwork with attention to detail, planning, and organization.

Other duties as assigned.

Competencies

Effective communication and customer service skills.

Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Assist the leasing activities of the leasing staff.

Be courteous and professional, well organized, and meet deadlines.

Follow all company policies and procedures, be a team player.

Education

High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.

Experience

1+ years of related experience.

Work Environment This role operates in a professional office environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The position requires regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands Stand and walk for extended periods, ascend and descend staircases and ladders, carry items, and remain in a stationary position 85% of the time. Travel up to 5% of the time may vary in frequency and duration.
