Base pay range $46,800.00/yr - $79,163.00/yr
Job Summary The Lending Specialist processes loan applications, prepares documentation, and maintains loan files. Responsibilities include reviewing organizational documentation for safety & soundness, verifying accuracy of information, ordering due diligence reports, preparing worksheets, compiling closing documents, facilitating sign‑offs, managing loan portfolios, ensuring compliance with federal & state regulations, and performing Notary Public duties.
Responsibilities
Review and scrutinize organizational/entity documentation for safety & soundness and CIP & CDD compliance.
Verify and examine the accuracy of information and supporting documentation during the loan application process.
Initiate ordering of appraisal reports, credit reports, UCC searches, and other due diligence information required for loan processing and underwriting.
Prepare worksheets required for approval, order loan documents and identify exceptions accordingly.
Compile documents required for loan closings (title reports, evidence of insurance, and other related documents).
Facilitate document signing process and address customer questions and concerns.
Assist loan officers with loan portfolio management (review upcoming maturities, follow up on annual financial reporting requirements).
Support multiple branches as assigned by the Regional Relationship Manager.
Ensure compliance with federal & state regulations, internal procedures, and bank security guidelines.
Maintain open communication with support departments to achieve desired results.
Maintain Notary Commission & perform Notary Public duties for the bank.
