Commercial Lines Account Manager

Description Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
Provide a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing commercial accounts.
Assist producers in handling and processing new commercial lines business.
Review renewal requests, endorsements and audits for accuracy.
Prepare Auto ID Cards, Evidence of Property, Summary of Insurance, Certificates of Insurance and Binders.
Obtain renewal information requested by the company underwriter.
Prepare pre‑renewal packets and maintain underwriting and marketing information by carrier.
Review company‑issued new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, typing, endorsements, forms and coverages.
Review all Accord applications for accuracy.
Work with accounting to invoice all premium‑bearing agency bill transactions.
Handle telephone requests and written miscellaneous correspondence (e.g., bank requests).
Process cancellation requests.
Keep up to date on insurance forms and coverage changes through bulletins and circulars.
Process claims and follow up as needed.
Service selected commercial line accounts to eliminate gaps in coverage, reducing E&O exposures.
Provide prompt, accurate, courteous service to customers, producers and company personnel.
Grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge in conjunction with The Ansay Way to the highest level possible.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
At least two years of commercial lines experience.
Thorough understanding of commercial lines insurance products.
Licensed per state requirements, or willing to obtain license.
Possess relevant designation (e.g., CISR, CIC, CRM) or willing to obtain one.
Self‑starter who thinks outside the box, is imaginative and creative.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented with solid listening skills.
Team player with a can‑do attitude.
