Business Development Representative and Account Manager
The Business Development (BD) Rep/Account Manager (the “Rep”) is primarily responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners, promoting Calsoft products and services, and achieving the individual BD goal through BD activities, mainly in the Texas and South-West region of the US.
This position requires native or high-business-level of Japanese in listening/speaking/reading/writing and business-level English.
This position is required to complete the BD process including the customer contract and tasks necessary to gain customer liability working at Calsoft Dallas office and remotely in the Greater Dallas area.
Key Responsibilities Essential Functions
Develop and execute an annual business development plan in collaboration with the Director of BD.
and secure new business opportunities with Japanese and American customers in the region.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to support successful project delivery.
Expand business with existing customers through upselling and cross‑selling Calsoft solutions.
Manage the pre‑sales process, including pricing, proposals, and coordination with internal teams, to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain target profit margins.
Drive the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualifying opportunities, scheduling meetings, delivering presentations, understanding business needs, developing tailored proposals, forecasting, and closing deals.
Develop proficiency in demonstrating Microsoft Dynamics ERP and IT infrastructure solutions, with an emphasis on Dynamics 365 Business Central (and Dynamics GP or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations as needed).
Provide timely reporting and updates on BD activities to the Director of BD and maintain accurate data in Calsoft’s CRM system.
Collaborate with the Director of BD to design and implement marketing plans (e.g., seminars, events, promotional emails, website updates, blogs).
Develop compelling value propositions to maximize company and regional revenue.
Complete required training and maintain knowledge of Calsoft products and solutions.
Supporting Functions
Collaborate with team members to achieve group goals.
Share knowledge and support the activities of colleagues.
Contribute to improving departmental services, revenue/profitability, and processes.
Demonstrate and uphold Calsoft values, mission, and policies in daily work.
Build positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, and business partners.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
2+ years of experience in the field or any related ERP software
Has knowledge of commonly‑used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Maintain professional image in attitude, conduct and attire
Maintain professional image in attitude, conduct and attire
Demonstrate aptitude for learning new technologies
Ability to effectively communicate technical concept to a non‑technical audience
Ability to interface well with other members of the organization
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Native or high‑business‑level Japanese in listening/speaking/reading/writing
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, or service industry processes
Ability to develop, propose and implement innovative solutions as appropriate
Contribute to and influence decisions regarding division procedures
Ability to assist management in organizational planning
