Job Details
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Store Address: 4826 FM 1463 Road, Katy, TX 77494
Essential Duties
Work independently to manage daily property operations.
Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries, assisting with storage needs, and processing rental agreements.
Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, insurance, and moving supplies.
Process payments, issue receipts, and manage delinquent accounts including collection efforts.
Conduct cash drawer audits and execute bank deposits per company policies.
Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance, focusing on safety and maximizing rentable units.
Job Qualifications
Valid driver’s license required.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to multitask.
Experience in sales.
Physical Requirements
Conduct property walks during shifts.
Spend about 50% of time outdoors—walking, climbing stairs, opening large doors.
Maintain property cleanliness and appearance, with routine inspections and maintenance tasks (sweeping, mopping, light bulb changes, etc.).
Transport lift/move items up to 35 pounds.
May run errands and travel to other store locations.
Average Day As a Property Manager, your day is dynamic and diverse. You start by preparing for opening, ensuring everything is clean and in working order, verifying the cash drawer, and conducting a property walk-through. Throughout the day you assist customers in finding suitable storage solutions, handle rental agreements, process payments, and address concerns. Between customer interactions, you perform regular property inspections for maintenance needs and security. Additionally, you may engage in virtual meetings, collaborative projects, and ongoing training. Your day ends with closing procedures and securing the property. Work five days a week (no Sundays), finishing by 6 pm, providing a healthy work‑life balance.
