Job Description We are looking for a Strategy Advisor to develop and grow GHD Advisory’s presence in the market. The role assists senior staff in carrying out professional tasks of moderate scope and complexity, including client project delivery and contributing to the Business Group performance objectives. This position can be located at any GHD office in the US.

Responsibilities

Corporate Social Responsibility/Integrity – manage the provision of a strategic corporate social responsibility policy and services.

Stakeholder Engagement – identify and manage stakeholders up to and including top management level, find out their needs and concerns, and lead the development of stakeholder engagement plans.

Corporate Representation – represent the organization in industry forums, boards, and committees; prepare presentations and materials for professional partnering meetings, seminars, and conferences.

Budgeting – take overall responsibility for setting and approving area budgets that achieve organizational strategy.

Leadership and Direction – set and communicate strategy and broad actions needed to implement it, inspiring a diverse workforce to commit to organizational goals.

Performance Management – manage and report on the performance of the function; set objectives for direct reports, hold individuals accountable, and take corrective action to ensure annual business objectives are met.

Organizational Capability Building – identify needed capabilities, evaluate current ones, prioritize development activities, and embed personal development within the organization’s culture.

Key Account Management – design, develop, and deliver the organization’s account management strategy; may personally manage a few strategic customer relationships.

Business Planning – lead the development of annual and longer‑term business plans for significant functions or local businesses, ensuring alignment with strategy and quantifying key performance indicators.

Policy Development and Implementation – develop a comprehensive policy framework for a significant business area and oversee its implementation.

Negotiation – design and deliver strategy for managing communication with clients and partners to negotiate and establish sales or buying deals.

Strategy Formation and Implementation – develop strategy for significant responsibilities, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, and ensure successful implementation.

Corporate Strategy Shaping – contribute creative ideas and insights to support corporate strategy formation.

Functional Strategy Formation – lead the development and implementation of strategy for a significant responsibility, integrating with wider corporate strategy.

Education

Master's Degree or equivalent level.

Experience

10‑15 years of experience in an AEC or similar industry.

Work Model Hybrid work model: work in the office three days a week, with flexibility for remote work.

Salary Salary Range: $112,000 – $167,000.
