Senior Analyst, Investor Relations

Position Summary The Senior Analyst, Investor Relations is an integral part of the Investor Relations (IR) team serving as a critical link between the company and the investment community. The role will gain exposure to all aspects of the IR function, supporting senior management in clearly articulating the company's overall strategy, financial performance and competitive positioning to investors. The role is designed to be entrepreneurial and collaborative, and the ideal candidate should bring a track record of success across a wide variety of skills including financial modeling, investor communications, strategic thinking and building partnerships. The role will report directly to the Manager, Investor Relations.

Essential Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, including press releases, scripts, Q&A documents, investor presentations and ad hoc financial analysis

Help develop the investor narrative and become the trusted source to analysts and investors

Monitor and track stock trading activity, market trends, peer company performance, and analyst estimates

Provide current relevant business, competitor, and financial community insight to management on a regular basis

Act as point of contact for day-to-day investor relations queriesand sell side interactions

Help coordinate logistics for investor communication events including earnings calls, investment conferences and one-on-one meetings

Collaborate with management across all business divisions to gain ongoing business knowledge

Work alongside and communicate effectively with different groups and organizational levels across JetBlue

Prepare ad hoc analyses as assigned

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience

Three (3) years of experience in buy-side, sell-side research, in-house corporate development, and/or investor relations

Working knowledge of capital markets structure, financial instruments and valuation techniques

Ability to create sophisticated, Board-level financial models and presentation materials

Effective decision-maker with the ability to think analytically

Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills and an exceptional attention detail

Ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization and influence internal and external audiences

Strong experience/in-depth knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Available for international and overnight travel (10%)

Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States

Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

Demonstrated interest in airline industry

Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, Master's in Finance or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

At least one (1) year of investor relations or finance strategy experience

Strong financial and business background with the ability to analyze, understand and articulate all aspects of the company's business plan

Crewmember Expectations

Regular attendance and punctuality

Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice

Able to maintain a professional appearance

When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue's Safety Management System

Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))

Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls

Uphold JetBlue's safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities

The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is between $66,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more
