Position Summary:
Troubleshoot, test, install and repair residential circuits, panels, circuit breakers, fixtures, lighting, outlets, service entrances, and wiring problems. Applies knowledge of electrical codes and practical theory in determining causes of malfunctions and applies skills in restoring safe and stable operation. Provides skilled electrical knowledge and work practices to all areas.
Work Hours:
7:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday, Some Saturdays and overtime required.
Pay Scale:
$23.00 - $30.00 /hour DOE + SPIFFS

Required Qualifications:

5+ years' residential electrical service experience REQUIRED
Must have significant experience troubleshooting in a residential environment
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Must be at least 22 years old to meet insurance requirements
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
Be familiar with a wide range of electrical troubleshooting techniques
Highly safety conscious
Knowledge of safe work practices on ladders and scaffolding
Advanced customer service skills
Experience making repair and replace decisions
A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
Possess tools needed
