Key Responsibilities
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, assess risk, and support actuarial assumptions.
Develop and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
Execute individual account pricing and Managing General Agent delegated authority reviews.
Support pricing and rate change studies, rate filings, and profitability analyses, and/or reserving, financial planning and risk modelling.
Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and product teams to provide actuarial insight.
Automate and streamline reporting processes and data workflows, including developing our corporate data bases.
Develop predictive claims and pricing models to improve pricing, claims management, and to generate business insights.
Prepare and present findings to actuarial and business leadership.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
3+ years of actuarial or related analytical experience preferred.
Progress toward actuarial designation (e.g., ASA or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Excel and at least one actuarial/statistical tool such as R, Python, SQL, or SAS, with a strong desire to improve algorithmic approaches.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work under deadlines.
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of insurance products and actuarial techniques in P&C specialty commercial national accounts.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) a plus.

Competitive Compensation Package Includes Competitive salary commensurate with experience along with a performance-based bonus.
SALARY: The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year. This is a good‑faith assessment of the salary range for this position only. In determining the actual salary within this range, MSIG USA will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job‑related factors.
