Director-Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting

Pay range:
$100–$105 per hour

Mission This position will assist the external financial reporting team and the corporate accounting team.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Assist with accounting and internal control activities for share‑based compensation plans, bonus plans, other global compensation programs, foreign currency matters, intercompany transactions, lease accounting, derivative accounting, and other centralized accounting processes.
Perform hands‑on technical research, oversight, evaluation, and documentation for significant, complex transactions, new accounting pronouncements, and ad hoc questions; serve as a technical accounting resource for regional accounting, revenue accounting, and global shared services functions.
Oversee valuation efforts related to goodwill impairment testing, M&A transactions, share‑based awards, derivatives, etc.
Review and assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual investor/lender financial reporting packages and presentations; coordinate with other finance functions and legal counsel; oversee financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, EBITDA reporting, disclosure coordination, and document review.
Must-have Qualifications
Extensive experience in SEC financial reporting, accounting, and financial controls in a public company environment or public accounting firm.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
CPA certification.
8+ years of progressive work experience with proficiency in technical accounting.
Strong GAAP and technical research skills commensurate with a complex global company environment.
Proficiency with selected software applications; experience with Oracle and OneStream is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to partner with senior management, document technical positions, and defend them.
Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to work within a fast‑paced environment, under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
Capability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
Strict confidentiality maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
Public accounting experience within a Big‑4 firm, especially at senior manager level.
Oracle and OneStream experience (current systems).
Basic Oracle general ledger experience.
