(Senior) Supplier Relationship Manager (External Supply Organization)

Your responsibilities
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key external suppliers, ensuring their performance, quality compliance, and achievement of business objectives. Conduct regular business reviews and meetings with suppliers/CMOs, resolve issues, and implement continuous improvement programs. Collaborate with internal teams (QA, RA, SCM, Procurement, MS&T) on change management, complaints, audits, commercial negotiations, and production planning. Ensure supply continuity by monitoring component availability, production capacity, and order fulfillment (OTIF). Coordinate technology transfers and changes, including negotiating transfer agreements and working closely with the MS&T team. Oversee quality processes, resolve complaints and deviations, and participate in quality review meetings. Analyze operational data (forecasts, orders, KPIs), prepare reports and recommendations. Manage documentation (NDAs, CDAs), verify budgets and invoices, and participate in key operational meetings (S&OP, Quality Reviews). Support product lifecycle projects and verify new CMOs for technical and regulatory compliance. We offer

Higher education (chemistry, pharmacy, supply chain management, engineering, or related field). Experience in supplier management, contract manufacturing, or external operations in the pharmaceutical industry (minimum 3–5 years). Knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality processes, and cGMP principles (EU/global). Ability to negotiate and manage contracts. Experience with KPIs, risk management, and project management. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders. Preferred: experience in leading project teams and strategic supplier management.
