Hiring Range: $21.06- $28.21

Prepares Closing Packages and issues Closing Disclosures for various Products offered throughout all Business Channels ensuring compliance with TRID regulations. Completes Wire Breakdown for Attorney ensuring funding is accurate. Reviews Closing Board pipeline regularly to monitor scheduled files and prioritizes based on Closing Dates/Times. Provides exceptional customer service for all internal and external customers. In addition this team member must create an atmosphere which facilitates the company’s goals and decisions through mutual respect, honesty and consideration of others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Closing Packages:

Complete closing screens in System

Prepare closing packages

Communicates with Closing Attorney

Complete the Closing Checklist

Communicates with Sales staff

Complete Cure calculation

Prepare the Wire Breakdown

Review Closing Disclosures for accuracy, min investment, etc.

Post-Closing Suspensions:

Responds quickly to all Post-Closing notifications

Prepares revised Closing Documents when necessary

Assists Post Closing Department with questions regarding Closed Loan Files

Departmental Support:

Remains familiar with frequently changing investor guidelines and procedures

Cross-trains and assists with other Team-related functions as necessary

Maintains up-to-date procedures for all functions performed

Performs other duties as requested.

Must be flexible with schedule during peak volume/season.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience

Two to five years related experience and/or training

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Provides courteous telephone support

Communicates effectively with customers

Excellent Internal / External customer relations skills

Desire to work with the public focusing on meeting customer needs

Is tolerant of others’ delays due to uncontrollable circumstances

Thinks before taking actions

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Ensure all policies are administered within ethical and legal standards to minimize litigation exposure

Understands all aspects of job responsibilities

Familiar with FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, VA, MASS Housing and NHHFA Housing Guidelines RI Housing & Construction Loans, USDA / State Housing programs

Experienced in the Encompass platform software.

The employee is occasionally required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. They also occasionally travel to locations outside of the facility, to attend meetings, trainings, events, and other business activities. The employee occasionally positions self to maintain or access files in file cabinets. The employee must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee frequently observes details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move boxes or equipment up to 20 pounds across office for various needs.
