Citi Commercial Bank - Mid-Corp Relationship Manager, Director - NBFI Join Citi as a Mid-Corp Relationship Manager and leverage your relationship management expertise to drive business growth and strengthen client relationships. This Director-level role focuses on deepening engagement with key mid-corporate clients, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of compelling banking solutions that meet clients’ evolving needs.

Responsibilities

Deepen relationships with mid-corporate clients by proactively owning the client lifecycle and anticipating future needs, risks, and expectations.

Identify and introduce innovative solutions that strengthen portfolio effectiveness and expand credit opportunities.

Collaborate with product specialists and subject matter experts to design customized solutions that meet client objectives.

Partner with the Case Manager to onboard new clients and retain existing ones, ensuring compliance with KYC and other regulatory requirements.

Identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.

Deliver a superior client experience by proactively sharing market updates, trends, and intelligence.

Lead innovation in product and service delivery, aligning with Citi’s strategic initiatives across the commercial market and EIB.

Build a network of client relationships to identify new business opportunities and promote the growth of the client base.

Administer the full credit relationship, overseeing policy adherence and ensuring institutional processes are followed.

Maintain strict regulatory compliance and uphold Citi’s policies and guidelines at all times.

Evaluate risk accurately and manage business decisions to protect Citi’s reputation and safeguard its assets.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in banking or related financial services.

FINRA licensing (SIE, Series 63 & 79) or the capability to obtain them.

In-depth knowledge of banking and investment products and proven track record delivering sound financial advice.

Advanced credit expertise, including structuring global transactions and guiding teams through approval processes.

Strong early-warning detection and credit monitoring skills.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with a consultative sales approach.

Ability to work effectively across functional teams and under pressure to achieve results.

Proficiency in leveraging technology and digital tools to enhance the client experience.

Self‑directed and driven, able to adapt priorities based on evolving data insights.

Education

University degree (Bachelor’s); Master’s preferred.

Employment Details Full‑time, located in Los Angeles, California.

Salary range: $200,000 – $300,000 plus incentive and retention awards. Citi offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life, disability and wellness programs.
