Overview
As a construction manager for our XX market (pay range $XX to $YY), you will have primary responsibility for managing construction workload, project cost and other financials, and routine reporting. Every day, you will lead by example, shaping the culture of the team and the company, while performing site walks, quality checks, and enforcing safety standards. You will also manage subcontractors, assist crews with troubleshooting, provide field training, and be responsible for permits, traffic control, and all equipment needs.

Every day, you will lead by example, shaping the culture of the team and the company, while performing site walks, quality checks, and enforcing safety standards. You will also manage subcontractors, assist crews with troubleshooting, provide field training, and be responsible for permits, traffic control, and all equipment needs.
What We Need From You In order to thrive in this role, you must be able to travel Monday through Friday with some evening and weekend work required. Frequent overtime should be expected, with most of your time being spent in the field with your crews. You will need to be comfortable working in outdoor environments performing manual tasks in varying conditions. In addition, you should have basic computer skills, the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully (both verbally and in writing), and the ability to effectively juggle competing priorities. You will also need to be able to complete required paperwork in advance of firm deadlines. Prior experience in the telecommunications industry is desired, along with the following:
Write, update, and effectively communicate schedule(s) to crews and project manager
Review and approve expense reports, time sheets, rigging plans, crane schedules and other plans/documentation
Project material needs and create BOMs; order primary and ancillary materials and equipment; ensure materials are ready for crews when needed; run materials and equipment as needed
Identify crane and other equipment rental needs and secure rentals in advance of need-by dates
Maintain permits, oversee white lining activities, and coordinate traffic control
Perform site walks, quality checks, safety checks, crane walks, and final punch walks; complete closeout reviews and submittals
Review completed work to ensure material costs and extras are captured; report information to project manager
Maintain budget and hours for project
Manage subcontractors
Provide field training and fill in as needed to cover crew member absences
Work with foremen to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
Liaise with customers, vendors, and tower owners to ensure jobs are completed on time and under budget
Ability to pass all required pre-employment processes, including a background check, drug screen, and DOT inspection
