Responsibilities

Daily Operations: Manage AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and MIS reports.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop financial models, create budgets, and forecast future trends.

Compliance & Audits: Ensure statutory compliance (TDS, GST), handle tax filings, and support internal/external audits.

Analysis: Analyse financial data, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and support management decisions.

Systems & Processes: Implement and maintain accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.

Team Leadership: Supervise accounting staff and foster a productive team environment.

Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, with a master's degree (MBA) or a professional certification such as aChartered Accountant (CA),CPA, orCMAoften preferred for senior roles.

Experience: Typically requires a minimum of5-10 yearsof experience in accounting or finance, with several years in a supervisory or management capacity.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Expertise in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are also crucial.

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills are necessary for success in this role.
