The activity will focus on the integration of multi-energy systems in electricity markets. Models will be developed for the optimal management of distributed resources in multi-vector contexts, considering the most suitable optimization techniques for the purpose. In this context, a thorough study of energy markets will be particularly important, with specific attention to flexibility, balancing, and re-dispatching markets, as well as to the evolution of the nature of the services required by system operators. Finally, regulatory aspects with a significant impact on the development and management of electricity networks and markets will be explored in depth. Italian or foreign applicants, who have a PhD or equivalent qualification, obtained in Italy or abroad are admitted to selection process. In addition, in the past 5 years, they must have authored, co-authored, or edited a number of publications, accepted texts, essays included in collections, and articles published in print or digital journals equal to or exceeding the minimum required number of 12, excluding internal notes or departmental reports.
