Key Job Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive key account strategy aligned with company growth objectives, brand positioning, and category opportunities. Partner with senior leadership to define channel priorities, promotional plans, and distribution expansion.

Account Management Serve as the senior relationship owner for top-tier retail, e-commerce, and distribution accounts. Negotiate multi-year agreements, pricing, and program terms that drive mutual profitability and market share. Lead joint business planning processes, ensuring alignment on sales targets, marketing investments, and new product introductions.

Team Development Manage and mentor a team of Key Account Managers and supporting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and customer focus. Build organizational capability to deliver world-class account service and execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure flawless execution of account strategies. Provide market insights and voice-of-customer feedback to inform product development and demand forecasting.

Financial Management Own revenue, margin, and forecast accuracy for assigned accounts. Drive profitability through disciplined pricing, mix management, and promotional optimization.

Market & Industry Expertise Stay informed of competitive activity, market trends, and evolving retail landscapes in the power tool category. Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as a senior commercial leader.

Qualifications Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive sales or key account leadership experience in durable goods, outdoor power equipment, tools, or related industries. Proven success managing national or strategic retail accounts. Strong track record in contract negotiation, category management, and team leadership.

Skills Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and executive presence. Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across matrixed organizations. Proficiency with CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI, Excel).

Supervisory Responsibility This position does have supervisory responsibility and will be managing a team.

Travel This position requires up to 30% travel.

Work Environment Expected to work in diverse office and professional environments, client locations and trade shows.
