About the hospital: UT Health Tyler, flagship hospital, 502 licensed beds, 24‑hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, 500 physicians, and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI procedures to aid diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Work under the direction of the Imaging Department Director, MRI supervisor, and radiologists.
Subject to overtime and call‑back as required by the hospital.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an AMA school of radiologic technology.
BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
Achieve ARRT registry in MRI within 18 months.
Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment and perform MRI procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
2–3 years as a diagnostic technologist.
