Key Responsibilities & Impact:
Advanced Imaging Expertise:
Operate sophisticated MRI scanners, select optimal imaging techniques, and ensure the highest technical quality of scans for accurate diagnostic results.
Patient-Centered Care:
Provide compassionate and personalized care, preparing patients for MRI exams, clearly explaining procedures, administering contrast when necessary, and expertly positioning them for imaging.
Quality Assurance & Safety:
Perform thorough quality assurance on MRI equipment and matrix camera, actively supporting accreditation efforts. Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering strictly to institutional policies and service standards.
Operational Excellence:
Accurately enter and monitor patient data, respond effectively to emergency calls, and proactively identify/report any equipment malfunctions.
Professional Growth & Mentorship:

What You'll Bring (Must-Haves):
Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
Certifications:
Current Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS) certification, required.
Active registration as an MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), required.
Licensure:
Current or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
Experience:
Proven experience as an MRI Technologist, demonstrating expertise in patient care and imaging procedures.
Skills:
Ability to safely lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others to perform job functions.
Qualities:
A strong commitment to patient safety and quality service, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
