Headquartered in Fairport, New York, we've been passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience since our inception in 1998. Our objective is and always has been to exceed our customers' expectations when it comes to product availability, value, and the speed & quality of service.
In 2020, WorldWide Electric acquired the Louis Allis Company. Founded in 1901, Louis Allis produced specialty motors for unique and demanding applications. Industrial, military, and municipal customers from around the world trust Louis Allis to provide specialty motors up to 20,000 hp. In July 2021 WorldWide Electric acquired the frequency converter and generator producer, Georator Corporation. And in October 2021, WorldWide Electric acquired Gleason-Avery, a specialty OEM gearmotor manufacturer.
In January 2024 WorldWide Electric purchased North American Electric which has helped expand our company specifically in the electric motors and motor controls area and providing our customers with product availability, value and quality of service.
