The Impact You Will Make Leads all global Procurement efforts across the Corporation onDirect Materials principallyfocusedon Medical Device Inhalers (MDI), Autoinjectors andTransdermal Patches.Managesa team ofProcurementprofessionalsacross the globeto deliver impressive results.The primaryresponsibilityof this role isdrivingcategory managementtosupport production efficiencybyminimizingrisk and thetotal costofownership ofdirect materials, the culmination of which will give the Corporation acompetitive advantage.

Responsibilities
Be an advocate for and drive the G.P.O. model in allaspects.
Develop strongand effectiverelationshipswith internal and external business partners.
Provide leadership in the discipline of Category Management and the formulation of Category Strategies.
Drive and embedenvironmental and sustainability principles in all sourcing and procurement activities.
Maintain a complete risk analysis for the MDI and Actuator supply chain totier n.
Ensure all key materials for the MDI,Actuatorand Transdermal businesses aremaintainedunder contract.
Drive a rapid response on behalf of the Corporation to secure materials in the event of a force majeure event.
Manage re-negotiationallocation of expiring contracts for indirect goodsand services.
Prioritizecontractualworkload forLeganonindirect goods and services contracts.
Hold Category Managers to account for delivery against strategic sourcing project plan datesand delivery ofValue.
Provide training and fully exercise the tools of Procurement in value creation.
Ensure the development of Category Strategies with business partnerstoprovide theCorporationwithoptimizedcost solutions.
Ensuredirectreports follow meeting discipline on agenda and minutes and saving to central repository.
Obtain tiered pricing wherever possible for unit volumeranges.
Identifyand drive cost-savings programs and cost-reductionopportunities.
Effectively manage risk of non-supply of goods and services through sourcing strategy and contracting.
Minimizethe working capital of the company without jeopardizing manufacturing.
Develop andmaintaina rolling3-yearprogram of procurement projects.
Ensure KPI’s and KRI’s areutilizedto measure the contribution of the department.
Ensure sourcing is conducted on a global scale to create value from suppliersand forcustomers.
Drive the evaluation of total costs for goods and services.
Ensure visibility ofspendthrough the maintenance of the spend cube.
Drive andutilizeeSourcingin the relevant circumstances to drive Value for the Corporation.
Ensurethe structure of the department is aligned tosupport Business Units most effectively.
Establishshort, mid, and long termgoals for staff and drive these forexecution.
Manage staff ensuring they have a growth plan, regulargoalsfeedback, coaching and whereappropriate, mentoring.
Developprocurementstaff to ensure an effective succession plan within the function.
Participate in an established cadence of internal and external meetings in line withaCommunication Plan.
Travel: 0 – 15% of time.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher(ideally in a technical subject).
RecognizedQualification in Procurement or equivalent.
A minimum of 10 years in ProcurementManagementideally with a background in supply chain management or manufacturing.
5 Years experience of successfully managing an international team.
3 years Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry experience.
In depthknowledge of Category Management and Strategic Sourcing.
Solid working knowledge and practical experience of MRP.A MicrosoftDynamics 365 (D365),Oracleand/or SAP background.
ExperiencedineSourcing(eRFI/P/Q/Auction).
Experienceina formalizedSupplier Relationship Managementprogram.
Strong verbal English and written English communication skills including the ability to make effective presentations.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to form close, amicable, trusting relationships across businesses, internal functions, and across all levels within an enterprise.
Proven consistent success in complex negotiations and experience inleading ina negotiation team.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel,PowerPoint, Word, Project and AO or Visio.
Demonstrated change management experienceandimplementingprocessesthrough tocompletion.
Ability to make sound independent judgments regularly.
Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed goals.
Sound financial skills including interpretation of company accounts.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel to conclusion.
Process driven approach to problem solving.
